The Chinese AI app DeepSeek became popular in the tech world and is now being used in Bollywood. Music composer Santhosh Narayanan shared that he used it to create music for two upcoming films—Sikandar, starring Salman Khan, and Retro, with Suriya.
On X (formerly Twitter), Narayanan said DeepSeek helped him save a lot of time, especially when exporting music stems. He wrote, “DeepSeek has really helped me with coding in Reaper, cutting my export time by over 60% for #Retro and #Sikandar. Exciting times are ahead for AI and GenAI. We can do so much more, and it’s great for creators and users.
